Sara Hegarty

Hi, my name is Sara, and I am the Assistant Director at Ivy League Preschool. I was born and raised on a farm in a small town in Illinois. I moved to Lee's Summit in 2000, and began working at Ivy League in June of the same year. I have worked in a child care setting for 18 years now, and absolutely love working at Ivy League! I have my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Rockhurst University, as well as my Missouri Director Certification. My husband and I reside in Lee's Summit with our two sons, Andrew and Gabriel, and our dog, KC.  

Lesley Belcher

Hi, my name is Lesley, and I am the cook and I also drive the school bus. I started working at Ivy League Preschool in September of 2007. I am a single mother of three wonderful kids, Jacob, Bailey, and Zoey. My hobbies are taking pictures and making jewelry! In my free time I spend time with my kids and just relax!  

Diane Curtner

Hi, my name is Diane, and I started working for Ivy League Preschool in June of 2002. During the shcool year, I work part time in the evenings as a closer. I teach Kindergarten at Prairie View Elementary School, so during my summers I work at Ivy League full time. I have my Associates Degree in Early Childhood from Penn Valley and have been in the child care profession for over 17 years! I enjoy my job and look forward to being with children every day. My hobbies are reading, backpacking, hiking, and crafting. I collect bears and Winnie the Pooh items.  

Dani Humbird

Hi, my name is Dani, and I am the Lead Teacher in the Princeton North, Infant Classroom. I have three children of my own. I have worked at Ivy League Preschool in the past and I am so happy to return.  

Kay English

Hi my name is Kay, and I am the Lead Teacher in the Princeton South, Infant Classroom. I have worked with Infants and Toddlers for over 20 years now.  

Amy Bass

Hi, my name is Amy, and I am the Lead Teacher in the Penn North, Pre-Toddler Classroom. I started working with Ivy League Preschool in October of 2002. I love spending time with all my little ones everyday. I love to shop and buy clothes, purses, jewerly, and anything girly! I am so glad I have the opportuity to watch all these children grow up here at Ivy League Preschool.

Renata Brackan

Hello, my name is Renata and I am the Assistant Teacher in the Penn North, Pre-Toddler Classroom. I worked at Ivy League through my High School work study program and loved it so much I decided to come back! I absolutly love working with children, and can't wait to work with yours.  

Jennise Turks

I have been working at Ivy League Preschool since April of 2005. I am the Lead Teacher in the Penn South, Pre - Toddler Classroom. I have a wonderful family with five children that keep me really busy. I have taken many educational classes in order to pursue my teaching experiences. I am glad to be here for your children’s future!

Hi, my name is Erica and I am the Assistant Teacher in Penn South, Pre-Toddler Classroom. I began working at Ivy League in June of 2007, and have loved every minute of it!  

Alicia McKnight

Hi, my name is Alicia McKnight and I am 22 years old. I began working with Ivy League Preschool in April of this year, as the Lead Teacher in the Columbia, Toddler Classroom. I have been working with children for the last eight years. I am currently a student at Longview Community College, planning to further my education in Elementary Education. After I graduate from Longview in the fall of 2008, I will continue my education at Graceland University, in Independence. I am the oldest of three girls. I look forward to working with you and your children.  

Kami Warinner

Hi, my name is Kami, and I am the Lead Teacher in the Cornell, Get Set Classroom. I am married with two children, Mackenzie and Chase. I worked with Ivy League Preschool back in 2007, and am happy to return again.  

Jamie Forbis

Hi, my name is Jamie and I am the assistant in the Yale Preschool Classroom. I started working with Ivy League Preschool in September of 2008. I enjoy working with children of all ages!  

Jayme Ambrose

Hello, my name is Jayme, and I am the Lead Teacher in the Dartmouth, Pre-K Classroom. I began working at Ivy League Preschool in January of 2007. I am currently working on my Elementary Education Degree.  

Tracy Wilhite

I am the Lead Teacher in the Harvard, Pre-K classroom. I have been a preschool teacher since 1996, and I began working with Ivy League Preschool in March of 2006. Currently I am finishing my degree in Business Administration.  

Kali Herbert

Hi! My name is Kali Herbert, and I started at Ivy League in August of 2007. I am the Lead Teacher in the KU/MU Kindergarten Enrichment / School Age classroom. I am attending Longview Community College for two years with the A+ Program. I plan on attending Missouri State University to major in Elementary Education. I really enjoy working with children and helping them learn to grow. It is always a pleasure working with your children.  

Leslie Bloomquist

Hi, my name is Leslie Bloomquist, and I am a floater. I have been with Ivy League Preschool since August of 2007. I am a student at the University of Central Missouri and will soon complete my degree. I am working toward a double major in Early Childhood and Elementary Education.  

Georgia Smith

Hi, I am a floater throughout the Infant/Pre-Toddler classrooms. Before I came to Ivy League I was a nanny for a wonderful family for six years. I graduated high school in 2005 and I have been taking classes at Longview to prepare for nursing school. I live in Lee’s Summit and am the oldest of three kids. I truly enjoy working with children and plan to work with kids as a nurse. I am also looking forward to starting a family of my own very much, I can’t wait! I’m excited to have the opportunity to work with your children.

Paige Solomon

Hello, my name is Paige, and I am currently a floater. I have been employed with Ivy League Preschool since 2006 as part of the early work release program in my Senior year of High School. I have much enjoyed working with every age group enrolled with Ivy League. I currently attend Avila University to major in Elementary Education, and will be starting my Sophomore year this fall. I was a member of the Avila Cheer Squad last year and this year will become a member of the "Glitter Girls" Dance team. I only have one child, which is a four-legged beagle that comes to the name "Copper."
